The Covenant Centre for Development (CCD) is a Madurai based NGO, which has been active since 1988 in the drought prone areas of South Tamil Nadu in India. CCD aims at utilizing the local resources and traditional skills of the community by promoting community-based organizations to develop community potential and resources for change.
Together with CCD, BESTSELLER FUND aims to improve the standard of living for farmers and farm laborers in the dry lands of the southern state of Tamil Nadu, with extra focus on fair trade. With help of the Bestseller Fund and Upasana, CCD will be responsible for organizing cotton growers and delivering the outputs in terms of organic cotton.
