The BESTSELLER FUND works in collaboration with an extensive network of government authorities, institutions and NGO`s who all share interests similar to those of the BESTSELLER FUND. This is done in order to keep the knowledge and experience of the projects as close as possible to the target group in the respective countries.
Based on this network the BESTSELLER FUND will identify, initiate, finance and monitor different projects preserving and reviving different crafts, cultural sites, and activities. The projects should seek to combine awareness training, education and micro-loans for local individuals of low income, with the intention of improving their livelihoods and creating sustainable economic development.
Many of these projects are pilot projects, exploring the possibilities of combining economic development and preservation of cultural heritage. These projects should have a great potential of being reproducible and scalable in other areas or countries.
A long term goal of the BESTSELLER FUND is to create a cultural heritage center in each country or working areas, where our own projects and staff can cooperate with local partners and organizations. These centers will focus on exhibition of cultural heritage and education.
